D.Blavatsky is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary DJ, producer, vocalist, and taste maker, heavily active in Montréal’s underground rave scene since 2017 as both a performer and organizer. While they’ve earned a solid reputation for their unyielding dedication and profound passion for rave culture, their creative identity emanates from a vast mosh pit of diverse musical inspirations and aesthetic connections. D’s music can be identified through their fanatical use of pounding bass, heavily referential sampling, and erratic vocal presence.
Establishing themselves as a dominant force within Montreal’s electronic and rave undergrounds, D is associated with some of the city’s most infamous raves and afterhours. Co-founding label and research studio Non/Being with the labels first compilation release “Certified Reality” back in 2020, D’s intimate relationship to outsider music and culture as a multidisciplinary DJ, curator, and rave organizer have authentically shaped their presence and sound into a resonant energy that sets them apart from other artists today.
Marking an exciting milestone in their development as a producer and vocalist, D.Blavatsky’s album “YOUR CHOICE” dropped in the fall of 2023. Self-released on their label and research studio, Non/Being, eager listeners can explore the coming edge of digital rave-slime expression with the music video releases for the albums single’s, ANSWER ME and FUK.
